I'd just like to point out the fact that Bette Davis adopted a little boy.......so she couldn't have hated men that much or little boys for that matter!!

Also, if you had such a happy childhood like you admit, and had a mom who loved you so much, you stab her in the back when your an adult! Shame on you for being so bitter cus your a failed,wannbe actress who could never be as good as your mom!

I believe Christina Crawford's "Mommie Dearest" was the truth. BD's accusations of "abuse" were absurd. I think her timing in releasing this book with her mother's cancer and stroke

is unforgivable.
