Blood in the urine, without pain, can be a sign of a life-threatening illness, such as cancer of the bladder, kidney, or urinary tract. Get immediate medical evaluation. This and other emergency medical tips can be found in the book "Your Body's Red Light Warning Signals" by Neil Shulman MD, Jack Birge MD, and Joon Ahn MD.
