Those students who were involved shouldn't be deemed a reflection of their instructors. That is how the students were before they even stepped foot on the college campus. So their college professors shouldnt be blamed. It should be the parents and the environment that the students were brought up in to not have known about racial sensitivity. These are 20-21 year old adults. Some easy one semester course isnt going to change their outlook on race.

College campuses are too diverse to require every ethnic group take a class on cultures different from their own, and expect it to have some meaningful difference on ethnic disparities.
