What a shame. I remember this place as a child before it became Harcourt Sands. There were two camps in those days - beside each other 'Warners St Clares and Warners Puckpool. My first saturday job was to give out welcome tickets to those on arriving coaches for a free cup of tea at the ballroom cafe. 1973-75.

OMG i miss harcourt sands so much

this video has made me cry i hate seeing it so ran down and derelict like this

i hope they reopen it but it will never be the same if they do

I clicked on 'Like' for this video because the pics bring back so many memories but in reality seeing the park in that way makes me so sad. I can't believe that I lived and worked there and now it's all gone. Weird too to see how nature seems to be reclaiming the land. Even inside the clubhouse......weird and sad.....

Really nicely done (bloody vandals, though).  What a waste of so many furnishings and equipment! I never stayed there but my parents live nearby (I have quite a collection of old postcards of the two camps, though). What's the piece of music at the start? Well chosen.
