mm is my favorite band( and tool and nin all tie) so i was apprehensive but this is great wish they would've done this s well with "float" i don't think they did very well with that one but this totally redeems them. great job guys! yall for?

Modest Mouse is my favorite band, and honestly I loved this. The singer sounded so much like how Isaac would if he tried to sing folk. One key component of being a musician is creativity, and I love seeing musicians being creative like this and changing a great song to a completely new genre. When I hear a cover, I don't want to hear the exact thing, I want it to be different in some way. And the guy in the top comment is right, Isaac and the guys signed off on it, so obviously they liked it....

@danslaughter420 It's called a tribute album. ALL the songs on it are by Modest Mouse. And guess what--MM signed off on it (so clearly they don't hate it as much as you do, unless they just did it for money. but that would make them sellouts, right?). They've done the same thing with lots of other bands. And no, they didn't write bluegrass song and insert MM lyrics. They adapted it, which actually takes a lot of skill. No one said you had to like it.
