TRIBAL RITES
This series of three Tribal Odyssey films explores rituals from within the most interesting and unexplored cultures. There are comparisons across endangered peoples from the remotest jungles to the exploration of the most colourful cultures known to humankind. Rituals in traditional societies mark moments in time. Rituals symbolise beginnings and ends, cycles of life and death in the natural world and the passing to other worlds. Rituals unite people to a common understanding of the world and communicate tradition.
Each tribe featured is geographically located with computer graphics. The demographics and logistical composition of the tribes are recreated graphically to give a real context to these peoples\' lives and the world in which they live.

Rituals and ceremonies in relation to social events, marking relationships within groups and the honouring of land and nature.
