I really love this slide show. It really sucks that all the information out there says how much weight you lose but infact thats not always the case. ive been seeing a specialist and she has told me that people with a hyperthyroid can also have symptoms of someone with hypothyroid, lucky me im one of them with the weight gain symptom. I have yet to be able to find a website that shows everything im going through with graves.one site will list 5 symptoms&another list 5more:(

what makes you gain weight with graves disease? I left mine untreated for awhile and lost a lot of weight, but recently ive gained some and I am wondering why.

I enjoyed the video. I watched because I have graves and just this week did the radioactive iodine treatment. I have never been skinny, and yet I don't believe I am fat. I weigh 145 lbs and I'm 5'5. I wanted to see how much your weight went up and down. Thanks for making the video .

This looks so familiar...I also gain lot of weight after my opration...about 30kg in 5 years...it`s so sad I tried a metabolical diet and after a while the hormon thyroxin pills caused an overfunction again I had to reduce the dose an any lost weight came back...:-((
