That second promo refers to the game of Sunday, September 11th, 1988. Sox lost to Cleveland 4-2.

yes, i agree,, i live in Quincy, and my mother works at a local Breakfast joint, and she said he used to come in all the time,, he had a condo down Marina Bay,, im not sure if he still goes there, but up till a couple years ago im sure he did
