We all need to live for the King. And since my recent motorcycle accident, as I flew through the air, I had the longest 5 seconds in flight to pray to the King. I still pray to the King daily to praise him and thank him for carrying me through my broken bone recovery. The doctors and nurses were there to help rebuild my body, but God was there to give me comfort and peace and watch over my soul.
What a beautiful uplifting song.

Okay, let's settle this once and for all- Ronnie was an atheist by his own words. There was no deathbed conversion - that's a lie that Christians tell about every atheist to make them feel superior. Honestly - is it necessary to LIE to attract converts to your religion?

@MrCamelneck Kerry Livgren is a hard-core Christian. When he wrote this song it was about living for God. When he contemplated who would sing, he found the most "evil singer' he could thik of in music, which at the time was Dio. RJD did not know the meaning of the song until after it was released in1976.
