I saw this years ago and despite the comments below, I believe that a good deal of this is still applicable. I am a well positioned, reasonably successful "O" and unfortunately I can relate to the Tale. It has just never hindered me. I would still use it to jump start a conversation, even if the conversation is to debate the issue. It is definitely not a history lesson however.
this video is extremely outdated...it came out in the mid 80's. I don't know anyone in the business world who thinks narrow-mindedly like this anymore. This is more of a histroy lesson than anything else
At my job people could care less about skin color but how well you can perform your job. I never heard of anyone saying they don't want to work with such and such because of their color. Even the most racist of people don't think that way.
