  • Thanks for the tutorial! I'm using version 9.0 and my ball didn't come out correct. My problem was that when i subdivided the ball the lines came our very ugly. The solution was to change the subdivision from faceted to Metaform. Figured i'd throw that out there in case anyone else got hung up.

  • Yes, thanks for bringing up that point. I used faceted because it had a more even distribution of polygons but there's nothing wrong with metaform either. Cheers!

    To everyone else: Try both and use whichever way suits you best.
