Wednesday's Child: Alexus

Alexus is a spunky, smart girl who is full of energy. She enjoys reading, singing, coloring, drawing, and watching TV. Alexus attends church regularly and enjoys participating in extra activities offered by the church.

In the second grade, this wonderful child makes above average grades and does very well in reading. Alexus is also helpful and completes her chores nicely. She benefits from counseling, which will need to continue after placement.

The best family for Alexus would be one who is affectionate, provides consistent structure, builds her self-esteem, and supports her interests so that she can grow up to be the best person she can be. In the future, Alexus would like to maintain contact with her current foster mother. The caseworker prefers a couple; however, all family types will be considered.
