Food Network Host Robin Miller and Tyson Foods Help Busy Couples 'Spring Ahead' on Meal Preparation Get Dinner to the Table in Less Than Five Minutes with the Newest Varieties of Tyson® Fully Cooked Heat 'N Eat Dinner Meats With 80 percent of Americans making weekday dining decisions based primarily on convenience*, Food Network host Robin Miller and Tyson Foods are helping busy couples to quickly and easily prepare home-style meals by providing time-saving tips and the newest, great-tasting flavors of Tyson(r) Fully Cooked Heat 'N Eat Dinner Meats.
"Many couples want to enjoy a well-balanced, delicious dinner every night of the week, but with work and other commitments, they need meal solutions that are super quick," said Robin Miller, chef and host of Food Network's Quick Fix Meals with Robin Miller. "With my simple strategies, and the newest varieties of Tyson Fully Cooked Heat 'N Eat Dinner Meats, couples can easily make great tasting meals at home, giving them more time to connect and enjoy the warmer weather."
"Spring Ahead" with Four New Tyson Heat 'N Eat Product Varieties
This month, Tyson Foods has introduced four new savory varieties to the Tyson Fully Cooked Heat 'N Eat Dinner Meats line, available fresh in your grocer's refrigerated meat aisle: Beef Brisket in Fire Roasted Onion Sauce, Braised Beef Brisket with Mild Chili Sauce, Beef Steak Tips in Burgundy Sauce and Pork Loin in Sweet & Tangy BBQ Sauce. Since the products are slow simmered, perfectly seasoned and fully cooked, they can go straight from the refrigerator to the table in less than five minutes.
In addition to using Tyson Fully Cooked Heat 'N Eat Dinner Meats, Robin Miller suggests the following tips and strategies to help "spring ahead" in meal prep time:
Five or Fewer: Always try making meals with five ingredients or less. Not only will this save time and simplify planning, but it will also save money. For example, take Tyson BBQ Brisket with Mild Chili Sauce, cheddar cheese, green chilies, salsa and flour tortillas for delicious Brisket Quesadillas. With only five ingredients, you've made a perfect dinner for two!
Designate a Day: Meal planning should start long before stepping into the kitchen. Designate different days to help prepare for each weeknight meal. Make a weeknight evening or early Saturday morning supermarket shopping day, and make Sunday a prep day to pre-chop ingredients for meals during the week. Even with only 30 minutes per day, the payoff of prep time is worthwhile, especially during a super busy week.
Wash as You Work: Not only is it beneficial to plan ahead for meal preparation, but it's equally helpful to start clean-up in advance! Ask your spouse to team up with you in the kitchen. While you cook, your teammate can clean the pots, pans and cooking utensils you've finished using. That way, the dishes will be at least halfway done by the time you sit down for dinner, helping to make clean-up a snap.
"With consumers basing everyday dining decisions first and foremost on convenience, it's important to Tyson Foods to provide convenient and flavorful meal solutions for busy couples," said Rachel Marler, director of marketing for Tyson Foods, Inc. "With time-saving tips and strategies from Robin Miller, combined with our new, exciting varieties of Tyson Fully Cooked Heat 'N Eat Dinner Meats, available fresh in your grocer's refrigerated meat aisle, couples can cut down on dinner prep time and enjoy a delicious dinner for two that's ready in no time."
