Somehow, I and my 7 siblings managed to be educated without having the benefit of kindergarten or "Pre-School" over 40 years ago. No air conditioning, sometimes no heat (We wore coats), 2 recesses a day, and no multimedia. And our educational system is supposed to be getting better? It starts in the home with good parenting. Read to your kids. Statistics show that Head Start kids gains are gone by the 3rd grade.
