Rep. Scott Murphy (D-NY) on his EV Experience

Earthen Vessels (EVkids.org) awarded its Service Award to Representative Scott Murphy (D-NY) at its 30th Anniversary Gala on 10.10.10. Scott was a tutor and mentor for an inner-city youngster during his years at Harvard ('92). Like many of his EV peers, he later entered public service and now represents the 20th District of New York in Congress. Unable to attend the Gala in person, Scott accepted the award via this video, explaining the impact of his EV experience on his life of public service and on his notions of social and economic justice.
