Christien

This was the maiden voyage of my 1/14th scale model of the KNRM Rigid Inflatable Lifeboat Christien. She was the 3rd boat of the Johannes Frederik class. This lifeboat was stationed at Ijmuiden, Netherlands from 1993 until 2003 when she was replaced by the Koos van Messel which is of the larger Arie Visser class. The model is powered by twin Speed 700 motors and Graupner Waterjets

voor een snel varend schip valt het niet te berekenen.

de snelheid moet je net zo ver opvoeren tot het vaarbeeld klopt.

zoals het vaarbeeld nu is is het net als of de boot niet harder kan dan half gas,

volgens mij is het 63 km/uur voor de echte boot deel die 63 door 14 ( de schaal) en je heb (bij benadering) de schaal-snelheid 4.5 km/uur 1.25 meter per seconde ......

't is heel wat anders als wat de meeste ' stuurlui aan de wal' willen zien

ik weet hoesnel de echte boot vaart ..

maar de snelheid moet je niet zo gaan berekenen in schaal ..

want het vaarbeeld van deze boot klopt voor geen meter met de echte.

dan zou de echt Christien dus 40*14=560km/uur moeten kunnen varen...........

De echte Christien heeft een maximum vaart van 34 knopen

dat is: 34 *1.852 = 'slehts' 63 km/uur.

its to slow for 2 speed 700 engines with jets...

you realy did somthing wrong.

the speed must be at 40Km/h

where can i buy this model??? i need 2 have it 2...its really important to me cause my dad use 2 work as a lifeboatcaptain..its in the family if u know what i mean. :)
