A dedicated video of Darrell's best bit from 2 Queens and a Castle.
Darrell, collapsed after suffering a stroke on 23rd March 2011, he was quickly rushed to the LGI Leeds general infirmary.
After being treated he was quickly taken to intensive care.
He seemed to be on the road to recovery but was hit with further setbacks as his blood pressure soared. This caused further bleeding to his brain.
Wednesday 30th March 2011.
After a week of uncertainty, today the Doctor/Consultant looking after Darrell has announced. That Darrell is clinically brain dead.
Darrell was well loved by the many people he knew around the country; his colourful personality was evident by his smile and his cheeky nature.
His many friends will miss him; the day will seem much longer without his jokes, his stock of funny sayings and his constant good humour

A man we met in fibre one sunny Saturday afternoon who befriended us and later became a person who filled our nights with laughs and humour. We are shocked by this news and saddened miss you.
