my mom works for progressive auto insurance and the only model from zap they would insure are the 'zap-x' and 'alias' the three wheeled things are too slow so progressive considers them golf carts.

Everyone should read the article about Zaps business dealings in WIRED magazine!!! The electric car revolution will happen, you just have to be careful with who you invest your money with. This company has a long history of unrealized promises and shady dealership contracts!! Take the emotion out of it. Is this company really worth your money? Do Your Research!!!!!

Hopefully the trees which are being planted by ZAP are NATIVE to the area in which they are being planted....

How about building and selling a million electric cars first. A billion trees start to grow every year all by themselves, we just have to learn not to cut them all down.

Reinvest your money into the company so your stock will go up. You can do all the philantropy with the tree planting that want, later. Right now get this thing off the ground in a big way.

i support your effort of building an electric car and i would buy one if it didn't look so stupid! why can it be shaped like a normal car? people mostly don't buy cars because of their features, but based on the looks.

my uncle saw more accidents with three wheeled forklifts than the four wheeled models so i kind of agree wth the guy remark about two wheels. now make it like a trike that you see at the sturgis biker rally then it would look ok.

not necessarily-- what's the most stable platform with legs? a tripod. look up the t-rex three wheel car for an example done well.

This would be amazing for cruising around town and getting groceries. The grocery store is 8 miles away, and the sets of stop lights from here to there make me average 15 MPG in a 4cyl sedan. This is a perfect car to supplement every family to get around town. I cant wait to watch it evolve
