Camp Rock 2: The second summer 29

Mitchie woke the next morning. The feeling in the pit of her stomach was one of excitement and nervousness. If they didn’t win they would no longer have Camp Rock. They had to win! They couldn’t afford to lose. She had to give it her all. If they didn’t win she wouldn’t forgive herself. They just had to.

Shane to woke up with that nervous feeling. This camp meant everything to his uncle. He would be crushed if he had to close it. He couldn’t let that happen to his Uncle. He just had to find a way to prevent it. And he knew he would have to do this not for himself, but for his Uncle.

*6 hours later*

Everybody was running back and forth as they each tried to ready themselves. Some were running through their numbers one last time to make sure they knew it and others were rushing to get dressed. Mitchie was trying to do both at the same time. A brush in her hand she was quickly running through her song as she did her hair. Shane leaned in the doorway and smirked at her odd behavior. She was the perfect image of a bundle of nerves.

Shane: hey. You a little nervous?
Mitchie: *turns around wide eyed* Shane! I can’t remember the lyrics to my song! What do I do?
Shane: *chuckles* relax. You’ll do great.
Mitchie: but what if I break a string or I stutter or my voice goes flat?! Then what do I do. I can ruin Camp Rock’s chance at survival!
Shane: *smiles* *walks up to her**places his hands on her shoulder* listen. Don’t do this for the camp. Forget about all of that. This is just you performing. Doing what you love to do. Play this to your strength. Just sing. Just be the girl that you were at Final Jam last year. Sing from your heart.
Mitchie: *takes a deep breathe and nods* okay. I’ll try.
Shane: *smiles**gives her forehead a quick peck* now finish getting ready. We’re going to start sound check soon.
Mitchie: *eyes get wide and starts rushing to finish getting ready*

*half hour later*

Mitchie was waiting anxiously in the wings. Connect 3 was finishing their new song ‘World War 3’. She was about to go on stage for her sound check. As she watched the boys leave the stage she suddenly was very nervous. She grabbed her guitar and her stool and dragged them both on stage. She tuned her guitar and got comfortable on the stool before she started to sing her song.

Mitchie smiled happy with her work. She quickly got off stage and was about to turn the corner when suddenly a hand was clamped over her mouth, a blind fold was securely fastened over her eyes, and she was dragged away.

Oh! Some last minute drama! Hope you guys liked it. Took a while to come up with an idea for this one.
