Haha I know, love it! :D Well actually when I rendered with the built-in recorder, it rendered at maximum framerate, so I was lucky! :D Fraps would just screwed it up.

And what do you do to the handling file? I presume set braking to a negative number?

Yes it does. It's indeed simply setting the brake line to a negative amount.
