@RAA555 imagine you never went on the internet. Imagine you got all your news from 15 minutes of tv. Imagine you spent most of your days at work, where all you talk about is work and sports/celebs, and the rest of the day you're at home, where all you watch on tv is sports/celebs. How could you ever know, or CARE, about policy? All you want from a candidate is the same kick you get from the sports stars/celebs. That emotional high, that soundbite that sticks in your head. That's most voters.

This just in, with less than 1% of the vote in, yes with only 930 votes counted so far All major news networks (except cnn) are projecting a landslide victory for Newt Gingrich. Poor CNN were a little slow on the uptake though, they waited till an overwhelming 2% of the votes were counted before predicting a Gingrich landslide victory, even though when they called it he was down to Romney by 8%

Its almost like they know who is going to win before the election even starts.

@gervanks RS may not have good reviews of film or music, but Matt Taibbi is a good journalist. Also, despite what you or I think of their music/film reviews (I agree they suck) they are hardly irrelevant.

@dearkgar one word for you.... RELEVANCE. In music, which is the craddle of its action field, rolling stone is as lost and diluded as a GOP debate. Much more on films, and let alone politics (at least in this day and age). Not to say that this fellow is not smart or doesnt have a good point (which he has), but running on the R.S. plattform is actually subversive to anyones inteligence. Its like the cast of jersey shore appearing on TV in pro of tax code reform....TOTALLY DISCONNECTED.

@MrJohnboy006 Damn Liberal media, just by exposing the repeated hypocrisy of a poliitician they FORCED christian conservatives vote for him - so much faith and Christian moral compass, But then again what can you expect from the followers of the bible, if your morality comes from a book that condones murder of Women & Children, Rape and Theft, then voting for a man who leaves his partners on their sick bed is normal.
