Points of Distribution (POD) Training - Lee County FL Emergency Management

This was a one (1) day course sponsored by Lee County Emergency Management with instructional support from Florida Division of Emergency Management to teach participants how to select, set up, and manage a County Points of Distribution (POD) site. This course featured classroom and hands-on outdoor instruction.

This course included a review of duty positions, job descriptions and responsibilities, and the equipment needed to successfully operate a POD.
A Lee County POD Trailer was on site, and students had an opportunity to become familiar with its contents.
