  • I have applied it in cross hatch pattern before as well. In my opinion it should be applied similar to a wipe on walk away sealant. You are not supposed to buff it off afterwards. However you do need to make sure that all of the area you applied it to flashes. If you get a high spot where it doesn't flash like the rest of it fairly quickly then you should lightly wipe that high spot area so that it can flash. You only have a certain amount of time to hit those high spots or they will set.

  • I'm just surprised that someone paid to have their Saturn opti-coated.

  • just noticed that you used circular motions to put on opticoat... i was reading it was suppose to be applied in a crosshatch motion. any difference in application method? i also thot you were suppose to buff if after. just wondering because i was thinking of doing this to my car. thanks!
