A curfew in Indian-administered Kashmir has been lifted, but residents say that the move has done little to ease tensions.

The measure was imposed after Afzal Guru, a Kashmiri man, was executed for his role in a 2001 attack on India's parliament.

His family was notified of the execution only after it had taken place, however. They are now demanding that Guru's body be returned to their custody, so that he can be buried in his hometown.

Al Jazeera's Divya Gopalan reports from Sopore, in Indian-administered Kashmir.
