Very few films have made cry. And extremely few have made me really sob. "The Thin Red Line" is one of those extremely few. I cannot begin to tell you how deeply this film touched me...

This choir song is one of the main themes of the film. I simply love it. It was not part of the original motion picture soundtrack, but released with a companion CD called:

i just want to comment on how much of an absolute genius hans zimmer is with this soundtrack. The depth of this film is incredible and portrays the raw human emotion involved in war and beyond. the epicness of the soundtrack is only matched by the stunning cinematography... one of the best films ever made.

@coscorella Go to africa. In Rwanda, if u go to christian church, u will be amazed by the quality of the singers (and there are not professional singers). I'm pretty sure this song was inspired by african original songs. Come back to the roots ;-)

An underrated movie!

Terrence Mallick and his crew did such a great job of this one and the soundtrack by Hans Zimmer is just perfect.

Unfortunately most people do not see the deeper meaning this movie has and misunderstand it as just another war flick.
