Growing avocado in containers

It is so easy to grow saplings of the avocado fruit tree (Persea americana) in different types of containers (yogurt pots, bottles, trays. An excellent method to save water with cheap, useless materials.

I've got a seed with 1 pointy root and 1 tiny leaf about to unroll.
