Unlicensed Illegal Alien Drivers / Los Angeles / Impound / Police Commission / John Ken KFI

Don Rosenberg and other Californians spoke out against the LAPD's new policy of declining to tow and impound the automobiles of unlicensed (and commonly undocumented immigrant) drivers in Los Angeles. Chief Charlie Beck will now let unlicensed drivers contact someone w/ a license to come drive their cars away. Mayor Villaraigosa has stated he believes this is fairer to the "immigrant community."

Further, undereducated laborers who have children they can barely afford are folks we could never replace if they were to all pick up and head back to Mexico and Central America.
