Millie Martin
Millie came into this world on September 5 2008 in Ireland.
"beautiful and precious little girl"
[She brought] "a smile to everyone".
Rachel Martin, Millie's mother, was with Barry McCarney.
Barry McCarney would try & create time where it was only him & Millie. Giving him the opportunity to abuse her.
Millie suffered multiple fractures.
At one point she suffered broken ribs, injured at different times.
December 11 2009
Around 8:00pm Millie's mother went out to buy food leaving Millie with Barry McCarney.
At about 8:20pm Millie's mother returned to an empty home.
"I was literally minutes away and when I got back... I got a phone call telling me to get to the Erne hospital quick - Millie wasn't well - I was in hysterics."
Millie was already in the hospital on life support.
"She wasn't able to do anything for herself - the machine was keeping her alive."
Less than 24 hours later the life support was turned off.
"I kissed and cuddled her, holding her in my arms,"
The cause of her death was attributed the multiple fractures, a broken back & massive head injuries.
There was also evidence showing the Millie may have suffered severe sexual assault.
A few days prior Millie had also suffered abdominal trauma.
"We are deeply heartbroken by the death of our beautiful little Millie,"
Barry McCarney has been charged with Millie's murder. But insisted that he was "totally innocent".
"She was my perfect princess with a lovely smile and beautiful big eyes, and she should still be here." - Rachel Martin
Rachel Martin has been charged with cruelty & neglect leading to Millie's death.

well she would always have bruises and abrasions after every time she was with the guy how did the mother not notice? or did she not care or just cared about being with that guy more? and who could hurt a baby/child like that for no reason like hurt someone your own size at least ya punk. also shows pure cowardliness.

how could that whore of a mother turn a blind eye on the child's injuries as sever as broken ribs? how can any mother betray her child like that. this whore of a mother is as guilty as the monster that killed the baby.ALL child abusers and molesters will burn in hell!

This is why we should bring back the death penalty... no wait scratch that... "an eye for an eye" let child killers suffer what the child had. Why was the mother not convicted as well? You would notice the bruses and scratches and everything else but she let it be. They should both be punished.

i will never every be able to comprehend why someone would want to hurt and innocent little baby. That so called "mother" needs to rot in hell along with the murderer. she was only 2months younger than my own daughter. If anybody layed a hand on my child and left as much as a scratch, they would certainly pay for it. How could that mother just let it happen?? What is wrong with these people??
