False, i own a 97 gmc yukon. i am an 18 year old kid. pure steal, 2 airbages, weighs 5500 pounds, and has a vortec 5.7 v8. thats right, a 350 cubic inch v8, same size engine chevy has been using for generations in cars and trucks. and it has a very low roll over rate, trust me i have cut the wheel very tight and have not even got on two wheels. DO A LITTLE MORE RESEARCH PAL!

Here's a list of their excuses for owning these behemoths.

$100 plus for a barrel of oil - "not my fault"

Global Warming - "That is a conspiracy by the government"

Safety at risk - "You gotta die someday right? Why not enjoy life while you are alive?"

and the list goes on....

They don't give a damn about anybody, they just want to look good. People WAKE UP!!!

I Respect everything you just said man, I really do. But the funny part is that I'm a 20 year old that drives an 08 escalade on 26s lol I do only get 12 MPG but I love my truck. That's why I bought it. Nevertheless I still respect that. My next vehicle is gonna be a smaller car like a BMW 650 giving me 20MPG. Hey it's better right? Lol

I listened to everything he said. The United States is a free country, and people may/should be able to buy SUVs at their own discretion. It shouldn't be up to the government (like everything these days) or our insanely inept president to decide who can drive an SUV.

A 5 ft. woman driving a huge SUV? What if she has kids? My momhas always used SUVS. What do you expect us to do? When she drives us to school, along with other kids to carpool, do you want all 6 of us to cram into a toyota prius? Along with all of our stuff? The reason my mom drove a YukonXL was so we could all drive around together, rather than take multiple cars.

And are you seriously comparing the safety of a small car to that of an SUV or a truck? There's a reason they always win!
