If your icemaker is not working, check to see if it has an ON/OFF SWITCH. This video demostrates where to locate the switch and troubleshoot. More tips at www.geappliances.com.

  • What a joke. If your I / M does not produce a harvest of ice within 3 hours, you have trouble. It should not take 24 hours to see production. The on off switch in this video is not a switch at all. When the lever is moved to the off position it just moves the iced feeler paddle under the ice maker backward telling the ice maker not to produce. Moving the lever to the on position allows the ice feeler paddle under the ice maker to move into the production position. This I / M is not serviceable.
