  • Yes, it is. David was the King of Romance, and the man with the golden voice, he is unforgetable, and deserves more accolades from the musical world.

  • @patrickdcyau David really did have a beautiful voice but I think Mario Lanza just had the edge, I come from hull originaly what a lot of people don't know is that David had a brother called Ernie, believe it or not he was just as good as David but never had the break, When David bought a house just outside Hull he ad gates made that played Cara-Mia, he and Ernie worked delivering cement, Ernie used to sing in the pubs in Hull, they were brought up on Hessle Rd.same as me our mums were friends.

  • He died too young. Having survived D-Day and then to be taken so suddenly at 54 by a brain hemmorhage is so tragic; but, here is this magnificent voice thanks to the recording sciences. .
