@pandadust1 get a life there are no black native indians or mexicans or other wise...my husband is an ex-amish they don't even grow up with t.v's little lone that they should have contemplated your race... are you like so totally race obsessed as if there thinking I guess we will reject someone now...if you wanted to join them you could...the point is they would totally acsept anyone...

@pandadust1 Most don't become Amish. They are born Amish. And concidering that Amish people originate from Germany and Switzerland they are mainly white. It's not racism, they just remain in their own group. It's not a club you sign up for.

relize that less than 2 weeks after i wrote this 4 amish children died on roscoe road, in a carrige. im not hateing on them, but the fact that there has never been a black amish person in the USA was very puzzling to me. i just dont feel as though the amish are a diverse group of people and theres lots of um.=)

the very few amish kids and adults i know, i viewed as racist and power hungry...mabye these ones were different, but for the most part i think the amish wish it was the olden days when the colored were theyre slaves. i hate to think it but some may mistake these amish as sophisticated power hungry nazis...schemeing their way through life, playing little mind games. has anyone ever seen a black, indian, or mexican amish person? i haven't. god says all are equal of sin, they aren't gods chosen...
