weidnca I totally agree. I've been riding since the late 70's and this bridge topped them all. I rode my Kawasaki Vulcan 900 over it last spring (not knowing it had a steel-grate deck either). I almost had a panic attack, really. Not for the faint of heart. One scary mother of a bridge!

I recently posted the same video driving at the usual and posted 25 mph. Some feel pretty smart brag'n that they cross @ +45 mph. May never be able to reply back someday to em "I told ya so".

Nice video of a bridge I've crossed scores of times (I used to live in Metropolis, IL). But I think that you, and the vehicle ahead of you, were driving a bit too fast. I seem to recall the speed limit on the bridge is 25 mph. You were trucking along at 45 or 50 mph. What's the hurry?

@14921960 I was probably going at least 35, the traffic behind me was no help... god forbid you go below 30 on it. I made another trip over the bridge the following December in my truck, and probably didn't even break 25... as soon as I hit that metal deck I started getting kind of squirrely and backed it down real fast.
