@salzo You can by holding Ctrl+Alt+Tab and then typing install

@salzo i know its a long time since you left this comment but jw if it would be possible for you to link me to some instructions on how to do this, i run ubuntu on a daily basis so im not a beginner when it comes to linux so any instructions will be helpfull

@Weeman4013 There's a new version at chromeos.hexxeh.net / vanilla.php .You can try it from a bootable USB. I haven't been able to "install" it on disk

Hi...I'm sorry, I haven't tried booting from USB or SD. I boot a pre existing Linux (Ubuntu) and from it I copy the images to some free partitions. Then I manually reconfigure Grub, restart the laptop and use grub to start Chrome.

nice.... i have the image burned on a microsd and use an adapter to launch it but when i launch it it just loads and doesnt boot.... do i need to use a regular usb?

Hi..I don't use a USB. I wrote the image to a disk partition and reconfigured an already installed Grub. I did it according the multi boot guide in the chrome hexxeh wiki. There's a new version now.
