Belmont students marched from the Beaman Student Center to the Massey School of Business, protesting the recent controversy surrounding the university to let their voices be heard.
Correction there is no such thing as an anti-gay Christian. Christ said in the New Testament the real sin of Sodom was in-hospitality. Ironically that very biblical story is being misused to do just that. Christ said absolutely nothing about homosexuality but he said plenty on cruelty, exclusion, and injustice. The passage you refer to was said by Paul who also justified slavery. You're picking and choosing which scripture to take literally to justify prejudice & intolerance
The is no such thing as a gay Christian, so keeping a lesbian employee is contrary to what a Christian school should be portraying... respect for the God they believe in, and not for an immoral and unnatural lifestyle (Romans 1:26-32), and lifestyle that will be severely judged by God. If any person claims to be a Christian and gay, it's any impossible situation. They will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor. 6:9-11) by remaining in that lifestyle. There must be repentance and follow Jesus.
