2010 Virgnia Horse Trials CCI* XC

Horses and their riders going cross country at the 2010 Virginia Horse Trials CCI* at the Virginia Equestrian Center near Lexington, brought to you by Brian and Penny Ross. Course designed by David O'Connor.

The first few scenes were shot with a Sanyo FH1 at 1080/60P. Then when the rain stopped I brought out the Lumix GH1 at 720/60P with a Rode shotgun mike and what a difference! The FH1 is a nice little camera for the price, and it may say 1080 resolution, but it doesn't hold a candle to the GH1.

What do you advise as choice of camera? Sanyo FH1 or Lumix GH1? I'm looking for an especially good quality video. Or if not, would you advise me any other choice? Again sorry for my English ... Great thank you!

@ZoutubeA09 The Lumix GH1 has so much going for it, I highly recommend it. Especially because of the electronic view finder which helps you see in broad daylight and steady the camera against your head. It also records at 720/60P, which is essential for high quality slo-motion.

I love eventing! The horses love it! Have respect for people have the guts to do this kind of thing! I'd kill to go here and ride my horse at a 3* event or even just watch! Thank you for posting this video for everyone to enjoy :)
