@Jannsmith i wish that happened to me......they never have to work.......dad will remarry no biggie.....SPOILED BRATS

@sylicone221 - At least one of her kids was old enough to remember Jennifer since she was entering the contest to win a wii game system. A life was lost and her family had to find her dead. Punitive (punishment) damages was justified.

@sylicone221 - Who is a spoiled brat? The radio station was negligent and now her kids don't have a mom.

I drink as much water as I can before I go out to dinner,
It gives me tons of acid in my stomach to where I can eat anything.
This sucks for the parents, Every time they get thirsty and drink water, they think of her. I wonder if a bunch of salt would of saved her life.

Wonder which insurance company gets to pay this claim out and how much it's lucky subscribers rates will go up as a result? Lord knows the CEO isn't going to take the hit on his own salary.

I'm glad that her family is getting compensated. There is not nearly enough info about the dangers of a water-drinking contest that may lead to water intoxication as in this case. The consumption of too much water may cause a depletion of sodium/salt levels in the system leading to swelling of the body tissues including the brain. How unfortunate that no one seemed to realize such hazards of the 'contest'. May she rest in peace and her family find solace on earth.
