i just found out something!!! maybe you guys figured it out already but i'll tell u anyway just incase. in the FOOD section, to get numbers 1-20, you will need to wait in the stage untill the skull monster appears! i've experimented with what food you get in the next stage in accordance to the number of moves he make. it could very well be time spent as well, but to what i can conclude, the food in the next stage RANDOMISES between no.1-20. hope that helps, i just need 5 ITEMS and 4 FOODS now!

By the way Billmaan I just got an e-mail from the Taito corporation and they said that there ARE some misprograming that the engineers are looking into. They're working on it as we speak and if there are any updates (from the wii) in the near future, Taito will let us know.

Just to let you know, I managed to get all types of crowns and got the crystal orb thanx to your good advice. Therefore I got food no.56, 58, and 60 (the crowns).

Thanx Billmaan. If you need help with certain things don't hesitate to ask :-). what i may try to do next is complete the game (including defeating the boss) without continuing. i've managed to reach the boss's room without continuing but died at the fight. even though the item that's supposed to appear after the fight didn't, therefore i have this nasty feeling that one would need to complete the WHOLE game without continuing. i'll let you know as soon as i've done it.
