This video demonstrates how to fold the origami model "Stegosaurus" that John Montroll designed. John kindly gave me permission to make this video accessible to you.

Diagrams for this model can be found in the book "Prehistoric Origami" by John Montroll, or in "Origami for the Connoisseur" by Kunikiko Kasahara and Toshie Takahama

  • You,tadashimori and Jonakashima are the three best origami masters in the world!

You might not design fancy models like ryujin, ancient dragon etc.

    or do you write books.

Instead you give us your or models designed by other people. For free

    That makes you absolutley awesome!!!

  • @mobradovic00 Thanks. :)

  • This is the worst video I've seen!

    Amateurs have no business here.

  • @Orion6002 My more recent videos are of much higher quality. ;)

  • get a better camera its very hard to follow you

  • Actually, I did, but the old videos don't improve with me getting better equipment. ;) Check one of my more recent videos, they are better quality.

  • Thank you very much for this! I got the original Montroll diagrams, but they were too confusing on heir own, so between your blurry video and his instructions I managed to make a rather decent stegosaurus. The spikes on the tail are still a mystery, though.

I do hope that if you ever have the time you'll make a new video for this model.

  • i failed epicly...... half of it i didnt get so i winged it

  • couold

  • **sigh** hi sara... it's me again.. after failing months ago, I decided to come back, doing a little better, but got stuck at the spikes.. decided to skip it first and go to the moving of the large spikes on the back but had trouble seeing. I'd probably do better if I see the actual diagrams. Will try again next time.

  • this is awesome i give my whole respect to whoever invented this and also most of all you for showing me..i first saw the video and tried but gave up before the 1st part even finished but now that i committed myself to make it i made it....THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!...you should make one on your eagle PLZZZZ!!
