The SBA introduced a Dealer Floor Plan Pilot Program aimed at increasing access to inventory financing for auto, boat, RV and other dealerships. Dealer Floor Plan financing allows dealers to borrow against retail inventory.
The dealer then repays that debt as they sell their inventory and borrows against the line of credit to add new inventory. Columbia Community Bank was the only bank that dove in to use this program in an effort to save jobs and one particular business in their community. As a matter of fact, their dealer loan recipient client is also receiving an award! The SBA is proud to present an Honorable Mention Award to Columbia Community Bank for their utilization of the Dealer Floor Plan Pilot Program in FY 2010.
