http://live.pirillo.com - When Starbucks introduced for-pay Wi-Fi in 2002, it seemed like a great deal. But five years later, the model appears old and stale and ready for a complete overhaul.

  • I just went to France, and all the Wi-Fi spots were open. It broke my heart when I realised that nearly every spot had a damn landing page and you needed a damn password.

  • Everywhere you go must have wifi

  • @xXZarlachXx i ment website data.

  • @903harman

A server can store data without being a website.

  • @xXZarlachXx yaeh it would be called a server.

    with no data on it.

  • @JoshyNapalm but who is going to pay to run it... i think it should be fast and cheap but not too expensive.then everyone would pay for it and it would be a really high income and steady. around 5-20$ a month

  • Should wifi be free in a word ((( YEs)))

  • @JoshyNapalm

Any good made free by government mandate becomes both more expensive in terms of lines, and sparse. Look at the former USSR's food distribution system, and tell me you want to make wifi and/or internet to be free. O_o

  • Woot free wifi

  • Wtf, ads are getting on my balls.
