DSI Tempest Bassline demo attempt

4 beats live jammed on the DSI Tempest. My focus was on creating great sounding basses so the drum sounds are used from some presets and are not the best. I also used minimal percussion to prevent distraction from the basses. If you tweak it right you can get a huge amount of variations in sounds, so you definetly can do a lot with just this box. Keep in mind that all sounds are completely dry without any EFX except a little compression from the Tempest. Try that with other grooveboxes!

4:40 is delicious! the thing i love about making baselines with the tempest is the layout of the triggers makes you think of notes differently than if they were laid out on a keyboard. as a keyboardist, i find it really inspiring to get lost in something other than the old black and whites.
