plz dont mention the ahadis in the wrong concept and dont misguide ppl!! Music is Ghinna and is prohibbed in the quran as well in Surah Luqman and Bani Israel. Moreover in alot pf Sahih Ahadis From Bukhari and Muslim it is also clearly mentioned that MUSIC IS HARAAM!!!! May god have mercy on you!!

on your ''They did not promote or use music'', its not about, should be 'promote' or otherwise the music or not.......... its just that is it permitted in islam or not, and doctor sahb has very logically explained it that its not prohibited in islam, provided that it means certain conditions....
