hum x for ground loop problem.

ground loop isolator. use the ac plug version for 50bucs (hum x) or rca version about 20bucs x 2 or convert ac plug to from 3 prog to 2 prog.. but that is not recommended.

@dOnKeYpUbEs i recomend a macbook or a macbook pro, not the air, i know theyre alot of money, but they dont crash and they work amazingly well

Hi i DJ with 3 laptops and have a phillips mp3 player as a backup. now with regards to the hum sound you need a ground loop isolator available at any car audio store. now with regards to sound still coming out of the laptop when the cable is in the socket, it could be a setting on the laptop sound card or a faulty socket .

mike if you use a ground loop isolater it will get rid of the buzz and clean up your sound,and your laptop remains grounded

At the time not all DJ programs worked with it. That may not be the case now however.
