1997 - 1999? Kickin' Rocks: stu judd - guitar, vocals; gary blumberg - drums; ryan ? - first guitar; chris ? - bass guitar...
...me n the g-man re-united about three or four years after the unworld and started kickin' around the idea of playin' in an original, alt rock band again...
we had some ideas, so we started trying to recruit some dudes to play and we came upon this freakin whiz kid of a freakin guitar player named Ryan. He was from somewhere, but lived in Ballston, Va. and rode the metro train up to my house every weekend for practice! Sheez, G-man commuted down from Philly!
anyway, these songs are '90's garage/basement band HEAVEN - (a garage on MARS, LOL!)!!!
engineer, on this particular day, was out to lunch a little bit with the delay, but some of the takes were AWESOME, aside from the fact that much of the vocals are SHI-ITE! The thing is, many of the songs were never quite played (or possibly sung) the same way twice. We were still somewhat smack in the middle of the preverbial "process" when the project was abruptly abandoned (who the Hell remembers?)...
one thing i remember for certain, it was hard as hell to sing over these dudes (myself included! lol!) as we played LOUD AS ALL 'EFF WORD and always in the most confined of spaces!!! Shit was always feedin' back left and right! lOL! WE TOTALLY ROCCCCKKKKKEEEDDDD!!!! lol!
But, DOG! I Loved thesE SONGS! AND THIS BAND!...;
