Less than 9 months until the 2008 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I know the high school bands are holding fundraisers for the trip. I am a South Carolina resident. The last band from SC to appear was Byrnes from Duncan in 2002. If a band from your state is appearing and you're reading this, please reply. I'd like to know who's coming in 2008.

Hahaha, I guess it was REALLY crowded there, because all you really hear is, 'blahblahtalkytalktalk' xD Great video-taking though.

@Melissa2087 hi melissa check the parade route because it changed since i filmed this. i suggest 6;30 a.m. as close to the starting area as possible. look for ramps and hilly areas above the street level that give you a good view of what floats by. enjoy. :)

i am coming to new york city for the first time ever the day before to see the parade could u give me some advice on staying? i am kinda fearful of driving to the hotel..please please advice would help on the parade and driving there

mesyjesy85 that is cool. you don't have to fear driving in manhattan, but its always best to take transport in and just use bus/subway while here (or walk.) did u get a hotel room already? hope you enjoy the parade. :-)
