Comment From Captain Mark:
This was a truly special moment for WPP. While attending the last Berkfest to film our new friends in Addison Groove Project, we were presented with the unique opportunity to shoot the Lips in their full Yoshimi tour glory. Due to a Soundman Related Error (SRE), we were left with only the camera mics for an audio mix. While at times being distorted I think this audio adds to the manic existential energy that the Lips promote. A few of us shot from the stage (myself included) and had to wear the required furry suits; Sara was a bunny, I was a unicorn -- horn and all (which is why I'm partial to the naked lady in the background)!

The Band

Steven Drozd -- Keyboard / Guitar

  • haha jam on the river '08 lips had like 5 fully naked chicks on stage, wayne ran around the crowd in a bubble in the beginning and was shooting off confeti guns the entire time it was an insane trip.. i mean show

  • to rhyanrossi---

i dont think its sad in particular, its a song that is simply stating some truths that we need to "realize". aka death is part of life and everyone dies, its nothing to be sad about it just happens to us all and we need to accept it in our minds, there is nothing sad at all about it.

all in all though, yes, this song rocks !

  • @FlaminFingaz

    its for popping balloons

  • watch documentary on hulu - must see

  • So is Wayne really playing that guitar? I'm kind of confused as to what it's used for.

  • great lennon lift and well used too, great tune..

  • to me it's the opposite of depressing, it makes me realize how precious the people close to me is, and that all that matters is showing it to them

  • that drumset is hilarious.
