Politicians continue to ratchet up the rhetoric over the planned Mau evictions. One group led by heritage minister William ole Ntimama maintained that there should be no compensation on grounds that the government would be rewarding an illegality. But another group led by Chapalungu mp Isaac Ruto maintains that they would resist all evictions if all the settlers are not duly compensated. Hussein Mohamed has the political angle to the story.
