Winner - $30k Golden State GP

Me and Donnie winning the $30 Jennifer Marlborough Memorial Grand prix at Golden State horse show. It's not on the video but a very funny thing happened after the jump off. I was last to go in the 5 horse jump-off and Duncan McFarlane had set a time of 42.1. I went in and kicked as hard as I could. I finished and had a time of 40.8. And this is the really funny part. For some reason, I thought Duncan's time was 39. So I was actually disappointed bc I tried my best but I didn't beat him. I came out of the ring and asked a friend 'where did I end up?' She looks at me confused and says 'you won it'. I was floored. I didn't hear the announcer at all! I couldn't believe it.

Thanks! I never responded sorry...Was that the super windy day? I'd heard about it but not who it was. Those rumors get going and it's amazing. I actually was supposed to go up that day but then I heard it was too windy so stayed home. I just showed Saturday. My friend timerwalked him to make him eligible. He's so easy going he doesn't need to do warm up classes. Anyway Thanks for the comment and hope you are all mended :-)

I like windy days at Golden State when they shut the show down because it becomes a day at the mall instead!!

woow awesome!!! you are a really fun rider to watch. i have to admit it was difficult for me to watch this round because i had a super bad crash at that show on the first day. taken away in an ambulance and everything. there were rumors that i broke my neck it was so bad. haha my poor horse was like "wtf!?"

Oh my gosh you're amazing!! =D Congrats man...that is SO cool. I'd love to ride at that caliber some day. There are no jumpers around here...only eventers and some dressage folks, but I'd love to learn how to *correctly* jump stadium.
