a Dendrobates! Four of them to be specific, ... although only three show up here. Also my female Lygodactylus williamsi has come down to check them out. They tend to go down towards the bottom of the enclosure when they need more humidity to help them shed. [The Lygodactylus that is.] Just cleaned outhis enclosure so I can try to harvest auratus eggs. The male[s] have been calling but I never did set up a proper "home" for them to lay them in and attempt to nuture themyself. Was experimenting to see if any of the tadpoles could make it through metamorphasis on their own.

  • MIne do. If you place a heat pad on the bottem and keep the temperature around 27C/80F they will breed. At least the auratus. Different species of Dendrobates like differentemperatures. Saurian.net, which is in StL has FANTASTIC deals. I mean I bought four auratus for $120 and they were HUGE. The Dendrobates will climb, but they do that in the wild too. The Lygos tend to just get out of the way. Two species that don't cause any interspecies problems. They can fight with one another.
